Head Golf Professional
Golf Club in Houston, Texas is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
As the Head Golf Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf operations at our facility. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to members and guests, managing the golf shop, coordinating golf events, and leading a team of golf staff to ensure a memorable experience for all patrons.

1. Golf Operations Management:
o Oversee day-to-day operations of the golf facility, including tee time reservations, pace of play, and course maintenance coordination.
o Ensure adherence to all golf course rules and regulations.
o Monitor and maintain high standards of course conditions, including bunkers, greens, fairways, and tees.

2. Customer Service:
o Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
o Address any inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
o Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.

3. Golf Shop Management:
o Manage inventory levels and stock in the golf shop.
o Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer information.
o Merchandising and display of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
4. Golf Instruction:
o Conduct individual and group golf lessons for players of all skill levels.
o Develop and implement instructional programs to enhance players’ skills and enjoyment of the game.
o Promote golf instruction services to members and guests.

5. Golf Event Coordination:
o Organize and execute golf tournaments, outings, and special events.
o Coordinate with event organizers, sponsors, and participants to ensure smooth operations.
o Manage scoring, awards, and post-event activities.

6. Staff Leadership and Training:
o Recruit, hire, train, and supervise golf staff, including assistant professionals, starters, rangers, and cart attendants.
o Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
o Schedule staff effectively to meet operational needs.

7. Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records of revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions.
o Prepare reports for management as required.
o Assist with budgeting and forecasting for golf operations.

Requirements:
PGA Membership preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in golf operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament operations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in golf shop merchandising and inventory management.

Familiarity with golf course management software and POS systems.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.

Compensation:
$60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
