Head Golf Professional
Resort in Lajitas, Texas is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Plans, promotes, manages, and directs all golf activities daily.
• Oversees the ordering and inventory of merchandise in the pro shop and outside service equipment and supplies.
• Maintains a well-stocked, organized, and attractive appearance in the golf shop.
• Hires, trains, mentors, and supervises golf shop and outside services staff.
• Holds regular staff meetings with inside and outside personnel to ensure facility goals, objectives and standards are being met daily.
• Creates annual budget plan for the golf operations department.
• Performs other duties not listed here as directed by the Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum 3 to 5 years of Head Golf Professional experience.
College Degree Preferred.
Must have experience in golf operations management and demonstrated ability to run a professional, service-driven, high-quality golf operation.
Must excel in Retail Sales and Merchandising.
Must have experience and success in Budgeting and Expense Management.
Must have experience in conducting and managing golf outings and events.
PGA Member preferred.
Must excel in customer service and guest skills.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Must have solid supervisory and leadership skills.
Must be proficient in hiring, training, and developing a motivated golf operations team.
Must be a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must have ability to exercise good independent judgement in accessing situations and making decisions.
Must have strong computer skills.
