Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Irving, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Shares responsibility for leading, overseeing and assisting in the execution of daily operations of the Golf Course Maintenance department to achieve the property standards. Including, but not limited to routine golf course maintenance, chemical applications and equipment operations.

Requirements:
A Certificate, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Turf Management or related experience.
2+ years turf grass management experience required.
Bentgrass management in transition zone preferred
Supervisory, coaching and staff development experience required.
Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
Current (or ability to obtain) state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to withstand outside working conditions.
Able to make decisions to benefit the company.
Good communication skills and work with others in a team atmosphere.
Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $65,000 per year.
