Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Roaring Gap, North Carolina is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
As a member of the Professional Staff, the position will perform and assist in all aspects of the golf operation including day-to-day operations, tournaments, events, instruction, and merchandising.

Duties:
• Creates a customer service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the membership and guests.
• Manages facility and staff. Understands complete operation of the golf shop and rest of the downstairs area (Grill).
• Supervises and trains golf shop staff.
• Manages tee time reservation through Jonas Software System and ensures proper utilization of Jonas so that day-to-day check-in standards are met.
• Ensures proper accounting and reconciliation of the club’s point of sale (Jonas) system and member charges/disputes.
• Ensures all the policies are observed by the public on golf course property.
• Merchandises the pro shop to include: buying, displaying, pricing, and inventory. Supports grill operation when needed.
• Prepares bank deposits and daily records. Inputs daily records and inventory into computer files.
• Manages and sets up all golf tournaments.
• Assumes management responsibilities for golf shop and grill operations in the absence of other staff.

Requirements:
PGA of America Class “A” member in good standing is preferred.
Graduation from high school and/or some college equivalent, along with at least one (1) year of experience in the golf industry.
Proven experience in delivering excellent member and guest service, as well as staff training and development.
Ability to promote, plan, and execute tournaments and programs to spark interest, boost involvement, increase revenues, and optimize facility usage.

Compensation:
$50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year.
