Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Bullard, Texas is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Directs and oversees all aspects of Golf Operations including its activities and relationships between members, associates and community. Has the ultimate responsibility for maximum member/guest satisfaction and financial performance of the club. Reports to the Owner/GM.

Key Responsibilities of the Head Golf Professional:
• Develops, implements, and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and expenses for golf departments.
• Provides timely and accurate reporting of all financial and non-financial information as directed.
• Monitors monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.
• Develops, maintains and administers sound organizational plans and initiates improvements as necessary.
• Maintains membership with the PGA and other professional associations.
• Attends workshops and meetings to keep abreast of current information and developments.
• Oversees the care and maintenance of all the facilities physical assets.
• Implements policies and procedures for the Golf departments, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Marshals, Outside Services and all Golf Operations Staff Members.
• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.
• Owns and operates the Club’s merchandise concession as part of the position’s compensation package.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (BA); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Class A member of PGA/LPGA.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.

Compensation:
$65,000.00 per year.
