Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Burnside, Kentucky is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Manages the total operation of the golf shop. The position will manage up to 6 employees as well as a volunteer program of 25-30 people and reports directly to the Park Manager. Responsible for the tee sheet for play, which includes the collection of fees, setting of rates, promotion of tee times, and ordering and selling of merchandise. Oversees all aspects of the golf course operations, such as pro shop point of sale and reservations systems, golf cart fleet, driving range, merchandise inventory/sales, lessons/clinics, and tournaments. Manages a team of volunteers for outside services who protect the assets of golf cart fleets. Compiles history and future data to interpret patterns for maximizing the tee sheet. Supervises and assists employees in the performance of their duties. Conducts training clinics for park guests and local players. Conducts golf tournaments for park and local guests. Sells merchandise in the golf shop, maintains displays/inventory, and accounts for daily receipts from golf shop and golf cart operations.

Requirements:
Must be a high school graduate.
Requires two years as a PGA Member classified as a 1st Assistant Golf Professional or two years as a PGA Head Golf Professional.
Must be at least 20 years and one day old at the time of appointment.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for employment in this job classification.
Requires membership in the PGA of America in good standing.
Must complete PGA University or an accredited university offering the Professional Golf Management Program (PGMP).
Obtain S.T.A.R. (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of appointment and maintain it throughout employment.
Maintain any required licensure, certifications, or other credentials for this job classification.

Compensation:
$33,666.88 – $50,495.28 per year.
