Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in La Grange, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and supervising the maintenance and conditioning of the golf course.
• Lead and mentor the maintenance crew to ensure excellence and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with the Superintendent to uphold course standards.
• Learn and implement turfgrass management, irrigation systems, and course preparation techniques.

Requirements:
2 to 4-year degree preferred, a degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field is ideal, but other degrees will be considered.
2+ years of golf course maintenance experience or leadership experience/employment required.
Ability to obtain or currently hold an Illinois Pesticide Applicator License.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and manage staff.
Willingness to learn and grow within the field of golf course management.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $75,000 per year.
