Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Akron, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work with all staff to provide excellent service to all members and guests.
• Tournament duties: Men’s League, 9 Hole Ladies, Couples, and Juniors.
• Offer instruction for players of all skill levels.
• Assist in the organization of Junior Golf Clinics and PGA Junior League.
• Assist Golf Shop Manager and other professionals with receipt and merchandising of goods in the Golf Shop ($500,000 sales annually).
• Assist in the organization of Monday golf outings.
• Play golf with members.
• Encouraged to participate in NOPGA Section tournaments.

The 10 months is not mandatory and can be adjusted if a candidate intends to work in the South for the offseason. Help with off season job placement can be discussed.

Requirements:
Level 1 preferred with clear progress towards obtaining their PGA Membership but not mandatory.

Compensation:
$33,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
