Head Golf Professional
Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Oversee and manage the golf operation and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional “ Golf Experience.” and provide excellent services and programs to all members, guests, and non-members.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of all staff including outside personnel, starters and rangers.
• Implementation of policies and procedures, and regular scheduling of staff meetings.
• Oversee all golf services and operations.
• Oversee rental and maintenance of golf car fleet.
• Oversee rental car program.
• Oversee reservation system, starting, and monitoring of play.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, handicap fees.
• Oversee the administration of the handicap program.
• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Develop and manage an innovative League play program for all customer segments.
• Develop and oversee the golf instruction program.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent.
• Assist in marketing and promotion of new golf memberships.
• Assist in preparation of budgets, including forecast and review.
• Maintain and oversee a profitable merchandise concession that is consistent with the demographics of the club.
• Oversee all golf related purchasing.
• Oversee all payroll operations for golf staff.
• Supervise physical inventories and display of merchandise. Safeguard inventories.

Requirements:
3-5 years in a leadership role.
PGA Member Preferred or actively working inside the PGA program.
