Golf Course in North Platte, Nebraska is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
Staff & Leadership
• To train, support, and review employees directly accountable to his/her position.
• Maintain the highest possible levels of employee morale while increasing productivity and profitability.
• Schedule and hold meetings with staff to inform them of upcoming events, tournaments, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patrons and staff of the course.
Operations
• Oversee the management and performance of the golf shop operations and services; ensure high standards and total customer satisfaction.
• Work with the General Manager to develop/oversee a profitable merchandise concession that is consistent with member demographics and needs; oversee and perform a monthly inventory.
• Develop and police proper golf course etiquette to ensure members and guests have an exceptional experience.
• Manage/score weekly summer golf leagues and golf tournaments.
Marketing & Communication
• Develop a marketing plan to help grow the game of golf and membership.
• Manage and market an informative, workable website which includes social media platforms.
• Oversee social media posts to ensure content is a positive influence.
• Promote the club internally and externally throughout the community in a professional manner.
• Increase revenue through various new and existing sponsorship opportunities.
• Promote while attending community events and network with area golf courses to promote the game of golf in the state of Nebraska.
Finance & Administration
• Learn and be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Foreup POS system.
• Work compatibly and professionally with the head of groundskeeping.
• On a monthly basis, be present and provide all necessary reports at the Board of Directors Meeting.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
