Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day golf operations, working closely with the Head Golf Professional to ensure a high-quality golf experience for all members and guests. This position is ideal for a PGA Associate or a current PGA Member who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management of daily golf operations, including opening and closing procedures, tee time management, and pace of play monitoring.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and their guests, handling inquiries, reservations, and general assistance with a positive and professional attitude.
• Manage and merchandise the golf pro shop, including inventory control, special orders, and visual displays.
• Coordinate and execute golf tournaments, leagues, and special events from start to finish.
• Oversee the golf cart fleet and practice facility.
• Support the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operation as needed.

Requirements:
PGA Associate or PGA Member status is preferred.
Previous experience in a golf operations role at a private or public golf facility is preferred.
Strong knowledge of the game of golf, including rules and etiquette.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in golf management software (e.g. Golf Genius) and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by the golf season.

Compensation:
$14.00 – $18.00 per hour.
