Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Lead Golf Professional to manage all aspects of golf operations. This role is integral to providing an outstanding golf experience for all patrons, encompassing member services, public play, retail, and tournament management. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a commitment to customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of golf operations.

Essential Responsibilities
• Member & Guest Services: Provide exceptional service to all members and daily fee guests, including greeting, tee time management, and addressing inquiries. Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Retail Operations: Assist with merchandise management, including inventory, display, sales, and special orders. Maintain an appealing and well-stocked pro shop.
• Tournament & Event Management: Support the planning, promotion, and execution of member tournaments, corporate outings, and other golf events. This includes scoring, rules interpretation, and prize distribution.
• Pace of Play & Course Management: Monitor pace of play, manage the tee sheet as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Staff Supervision (as needed): Assist in the supervision and training of golf shop attendants and outside service staff.
• Rules & Etiquette: Uphold and enforce all club rules and golf etiquette.

Requirements:
PGA Associate (formerly Apprentice) or Class A PGA Member in good standing preferred.
Prior experience in golf operations, preferably at a semi-private or private club.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in golf management software (e.g., ForeTees, GolfNow, Club Prophet) and POS systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings/evenings as required by business demands.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional demeanor and appearance.

Compensation:
$14.00 – $18.00 per hour.
