2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Bluffton, South Carolina is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for the opportunity to gain experience and expand their career in the golf course maintenance or landscape industry.

Duties:
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers to golf course and landscaping.
• Maintain equipment used to apply fertilizers and pesticides.
• Maintain chemical and fertilizer storage areas.
• Help maintain proper records of fertilizer and pesticide applications.
• Manage the maintenance crew in certain situations.
• Assist in opening and closing the golf maintenance facility.
• Help train crew members.
• Setting up irrigation systems to water the golf course.
• Managing projects.
• Help with mowing, trim and maintain all playing surfaces.
• Bunker maintenance.
• Install additional drainage on the golf course.
• Operating equipment in a proficient and safe manner.
• Will perform work on irritation system as needed.

Requirements:
A 2-year degree or certificate in Turf Management is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have a positive attitude, a passion for golf and the turf industry.
Must be able to move or pick up heavy objects.
Maintain confidential information.
Ability to lead, motivate and interact with others in a team environment.

Compensation:
$48,000 – $55,000 per year.
