2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Greenville, South Carolina is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to execute daily maintenance, manage the crew, and help prepare the golf course for daily play and tournament conditions.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist in planning and execution of daily maintenance operations.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure high standards and efficiency.
• Monitor irrigation and moisture management systems.
• Participate in pesticide and fertilizer applications and record-keeping.
• Aid in planning for future capital projects and golf course improvements.
• Help enforce safety standards and ensure proper use of equipment.

Requirements:
Degree or certificate in turfgrass management or related field preferred.
1-3 years of golf course maintenance experience (internships count).
SC pesticide license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Strong work ethic with a passion for the turf industry.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
Ability to lead, motivate, and work as part of a team.

Compensation:
$45,000 – $50,000 per year.
