1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Clemmons, North Carolina is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Exposed to all aspects of our golf operation in preparation to advance their career in the golf industry. This position is entrusted with the daily operations of the golf shop relating to tee sheet supervision, enforcing pace of play, supervising the cart attendants, tournament management, and monthly inventory accountability. Works as a viable part of the golf shop team.

The responsibilities below only outline a fraction of the job duties required and are not limited to:
• Assists members, prospective members, and guests with tee time reservations, check-ins, club information, golf rates, and policies.
• Maintains a clean and well-displayed golf shop and assists in selecting men’s and women’s apparel.
• Provides daily tee sheet and guest information to inside and outside staff members.
• Coordinates staffing levels weekly for upcoming events with a customer service focus.
• Assists the 1st Assistant Golf Professional with member and outside tournaments as well as monthly inventory counts.
• Maintains an accurate filing system for tournament operations, special orders, club repairs, and schedules.
• Supports operations related to golf tournaments, pace of play, merchandising, and inventory.
• Is present at all major member tournaments.
• Helps with the SGMGA and SGLGA leagues.

Requirements:
Must be working towards membership or have membership in the PGA of America.
Working knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software.
Working knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 per year.
