Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Bluffton South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Director of Golf / Head Professional in all areas of daily golf operations.
• Assist the Director of Golf / Head Professional in member clinics.
• Provide private golf instructions for players of all levels.
• Assist the Director of Golf / Head Professional in all tournament operations such as member club events and outside events.
• Assist with sales and merchandising in the Pro Shop, inventory, displays, receiving and handling merchandise, special orders, etc.
• Provide club repair and/or club fitting when needed.
• Managing daily play, perform opening and closing procedures efficiently and accurately.
• 40+ hours per week based on activities and must work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
PGA PGM Graduate or PGA Associate in good standing working towards becoming a Class A PGA Member.
Minimum of years’ experience at a private club.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience in tournament software programs, Rules of Golf, World Handicap System. Club Essentials POS and Golf Genius is a plus but not essential.
Tournament operations, golf car fleet operations, merchandising experience.
Teaching and player development experience.
Play the game to a standard in keeping with a golf professional to be able to play with members and guests.
