Head Golf Professional
Golf Course in Downingtown, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Exceed members’ expectations.
• Take ownership of the golf department and manage, run, make day-to-day and long-term decisions by acting as the owner of the golf department.
• Hire, train, and evaluate all golf department staff members. Build your team, including full-time, year-round assistant golf professional and full-time, year-round outside services manager.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the POS system (Club Prophet), Golf Genius, Clubster, and all other applicable golf-related software used by the operation.
• Manage member communications for all golf-related activities.
• Take an active role and assist the GM and membership director with the annual dues billing process, including Club Prophet coding, collections, etc., which is a critical part of the job description and requires a team effort.
• Assist the membership director with the sales process for new members as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and manage all aspects of the Golf Now relationship to garner preview day activity through the Golf Now pipeline. Manage collections for this program.
• Maintain consistency between all member relations.
• Oversee the tee sheet, manage pace of play, manage GPS tracking system, and handle updates/repairs as needed.
• Coordinate course access and tee sheet needs with the superintendent.
• Manage all aspects of golf shop merchandise.
• Oversee the management of all member golf events.
• Coordinate, interact, and communicate with other club department managers.
• Supervise and coordinate golf outings.
• Oversee billing for bag storage, locker rental, and handicap fees & services.
• Supervise golf outside operations and locker room facilities.

Requirements:
Strong attention to detail to take the helm as head golf professional, manage the golf department, and be a member of our management team to help form the next chapter of our club.
Assistant golf professionals ready to take the next step are encouraged to apply.
Either already certified or on track to earn PGA Class A status.
A positive attitude with a very specific focus on operations, staff mentoring and supervision, and member/guest service.
Experience with member golf committees and member golf event calendar development and management.
Team player.

Compensation:
$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.
