Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This is a great opportunity to be part of the installation of a new pump station, the complete redesign of a putting green, regrassing and expansion of the range tees, the addition of target greens at the range, and the creation of a brand-new practice bunker.

Position Overview:
• Work directly with the assistants and superintendent.
• Develop proficiency in all aspects of turf management.
• Participate in weekly meetings and seasonal scheduling.
• Assist in managing daily operations of the grounds crew to ensure the course meets the highest standards of playability and aesthetics.
• Assist in training and directing other members of the ground staff.
• Assume leadership of the team when necessary.
• Maintain and organize inventory and supplies.
• Operate sprayers on the course.
• Hand water greens and other designated areas.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust maintenance plans as needed.

Requirements:

Open to learning, feedback, and continuously improving skills.
Certificate or Degree in Turfgrass Science/Management or similar field.
2+ years of golf course management experience.
Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator’s license in Pennsylvania.
Ability to lift 50lbs and engage in physically demanding tasks on the course.
Course construction and renovation experience is advantageous.
Management experience is a plus.

Compensation:
$70,000 per year.
