Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in New Florence, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This career-oriented position plays a leadership role in operation of the Club’s golf course, grounds and facilities and supports the Club Superintendent in managing daily priorities and providing supervision of the grounds team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and management of golf course operations, including mowing, fertilizer/pesticide application, irrigation, and course equipment maintenance.
• Maintaining club grounds and recreational facilities.
• Delivering approved services to resident members.
• Monitoring and performing routine maintenance on facilities, equipment, and systems, including clubhouse, irrigation, pool, water, septic, and safety/security.
• Supervision of grounds crew employees, including daily scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintaining a constant focus on workplace safety, teaching by example, and ensuring operations are conducted in a professional and safe manner.

Requirements:
B.S., Assoc Degree or certificate in related field, or H.S. Diploma with relevant experience.
Experience in golf course operations, landscaping, construction or facility management
Skill in operating and maintaing power equipment (tractors, mowers, small engine, etc.)
PA driver’s license and PA chemical applicators license or willingness to acquire
Good interpersonal skills to work positively and effectively with staff, club officers, committee heads and members.

Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year.
