Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Ray, North Dakota is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the clubhouse and golf operations. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising all staff (We have most of the staff in place for the 2025 season, with several staff returning familiar with our operations along with multiple PGA interns and a new first assistant golf professional. We have been successful in finding excellent employees who have golf course work experience through various PGM universities as we have on-site housing provided).
• Implementation of policies and procedures.
• Overseeing all golf services and operations.
• Tracking and verifying all players and guests.
• Overseeing a reservation system, starting, and monitoring of play.
• Overseeing the administration of the handicap program.
• Development and maintenance of club email communications, newsletters, social media campaigns, website oversight, sales, and marketing.
• Club repair.
• Individual and group lessons.
• Oversight of facilities repair and maintenance.
• Enforcing all rules and regulations of golf course usage.
• Developing and managing a tournament program.
• Developing and managing corporate and other group outings.
• Developing and managing a junior program that has grown from 36 participants to over 140 participants in the last three years.
• Overseeing the operations of a well-managed practice facility.
• Developing and overseeing the golf instruction and development programs.
• Maintaining a close working relationship with the golf course superintendent.
• Assisting in the marketing and promotion of new memberships/play.
• The preparation and oversight of budgets.
• Overseeing all golf-related purchasing.
• Implementing cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory, and resources.
• Overseeing and approving all weekly golf staff timesheets/payroll, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Supervising physical inventories and display of merchandise.
• Coordinating food and beverage service at the clubhouse.
• Coordinating RV and cabin rentals.
• Direct report to the president of the company.

Requirements:
PGA Class A member preferred; Class B in level 2 or higher required.
3 years of industry experience.
Management experience preferred.

Compensation:
$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.
