Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in North Barrington, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by supporting all facets of our Professional Golf Staff. The candidate must embody the high standards expected by management and members, with the ability to work in a team-focused, family environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Member and guest engagement – monitoring needs and supporting a first-class experience.
• Support all facets of the golf shop (answering phones, running POS, greeting members and guests).
• Serve as a course ranger, supporting pace of play.
• Utilize Golf Genius software to organize and execute events.
• Provide instruction in the junior golf program.
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics.
• Work with the merchandise manager to maintain a clean and organized golf shop.
• Assist in merchandising and sales to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Assist in training and supervising the outside service staff.
• Progress toward completion of the PGA program encouraged.
• Knowledge of golf operations, tournament management, and the rules of golf.
• Strong organizational skills.
• High level of accountability with a desire to learn and grow within the golf industry.

Requirements:
Position open for entry-level assistants to a candidate with multiple years of experience looking to further their golf professional career.

Compensation:
$850.00 – $1,000.00 per week.
