Head Golf Professional
Golf Club in Rising Fawn, Georgia is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the management, control and improvement of all operations pertaining to everyday play on the golf course. Maintain and provide daily records and reports and supervise Pro Shop staff.

Essential Job Function:
• Responsible for hiring, training and supervising Pro Shop staff.
• Responsible for the financial and operational performance of the golf shop operations and golf services.
• Assist in the development and preparation of budgets, including forecasting and review of all golf operations revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Oversee the reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play.
• Track and verify all players and guests, green fees, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate accurate accounting and recordkeeping.
• Develop and manage an innovative tournament program, group outings, and leagues that service all customer segments.
• Provide professional club repair and club fitting services.
• Administer the Rules of Golf and educate staff. Promote and provide Rules of Golf clinics to the membership.
• Play golf with a variety of members and/or guests as time permits.
• Oversee retail merchandise.
• Manage the daily opening and closing of golf operations as needed.
• Provide golf instruction.
• Perform starter or marshal duties regularly.
• Ensure course is properly marked at all times.
• Communicate to both, guests and fellow associates, professionally and positively.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Desired:
Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: PGA Membership.
Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills that properly reflect the Foundation Image.
Listen effectively.
Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives.
