Head Golf Professional
Golf Course in Riverside, Iowa is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position serves as an assistant to the Director of Golf in the management of the golf operations, including supervision and direction of personnel responsible for providing first class service to golf guests. This includes oversight of the food & beverage operations associated with the golf course and oversight of the pool area.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Leadership and management of staff, to include hiring, daily direction, discipline, scheduling, coaching, and terminating of staff.
• Manage and coordinate the golf schedule along with daily play.
• Partner effectively with other departments to ensure flawless execution of guest events.
• Prepare tournament budgets for each golf event.
• Quality preparations and presentations and timely results sheets for all golf events.
• Assist in creating the merchandise plan.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory, merchandising and daily sales operations of the pro shop merchandise.
• Oversee and ensure effective daily food & beverage operations attached to the golf course, to include the clock garden café, beverage cart, the pro shop bar, and orders from the pool courtyard.
• Oversight of the pool courtyard, ensuring it is kept clean and organized and handling guest concerns.
• Responsible for managing to a budget.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years prior supervisor experience, preferably in a golf course setting.
Minimum of 3 years prior experience working in a golf course setting.
Actively pursuing PGA certification (PGA Associate in good standing) – preferred.

Compensation:
$55,000.00 per year.
