Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Augusta, Georgia is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
This internship will be an excellent opportunity to be exposed to new USGA specification putting greens, Tif-Eagle putting green management program, Zoysia grass management, and daily golf course maintenance. Interns will work closely with the management team on (but not limited to) chemical applications, irrigation R&M, and seasonal Zoysia/Bermudagrass cultural practices. Previous interns have moved on into either entry-level assistant positions or technician roles. Currently on staff we have two former interns that we have promoted from within.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management Program, or related field. Will consider recent graduates and candidates considering Golf Course Management as a career.
Golf course maintenance experience is not required but preferred. Will consider the right candidate with other experiences.
Positive and willing to learn attitude.
High attention to detail.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
Free off-site fully furnished housing, less than 5min drive to work, uniforms, lunch provided Tuesday-Friday, every other weekend off, and flexible schedule (40-50 total hours each week)
