Head Golf Professional
Golf Course in Portland, Connecticut is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Focuses on carefully managing the processes to create the highest level of efficiency possible within the organization while ensuring a great customer experience. Leadership plays an important role running an operation compatible with the interests of our customers. As Head Golf Professional, you are a key member of the golf operations team at the property, managing all golf and golf-related activities at the facility.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Plan, promote, and direct all golf activities including management responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Manage the inventory of merchandise in the Pro Shop.
• Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance of merchandise in the Pro Shop.
• Supervise the use of the golf cart fleet.
• Interpret and impose course policies, rules and regulations.
• Supervise golf staff including hiring, training, scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate daily with Golf Maintenance Team and on-site restaurant manager.

Requirements:
Ideal candidates are positive, able to work in small or large groups, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous golf industry experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules and availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
