Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Primarily responsible for the golf department’s tournament operation and daily operations of the Golf Shop. Duties include, but are not limited to: tournament operation, merchandising, rounds of golf management, along with excellent customer service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage tournament operation.
• Working knowledge of tournament operation software (Golf Genius).
• Promote sales of hard goods through club fitting.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and their guests.
• Ensure proper member/guest check in and fee collection.
• Keep the Golf Shop visibly pristine at all times.
• Assist Director of Retail in the receipt of merchandise and inventory control.
• Follow daily opening and closing procedure in an orderly manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements:
PGA Level 1 Apprentice or higher (Class A PGA Member Preferred).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in Golf Genius Tournament Software.
Working knowledge of golf club repair and club fitting.

Compensation:
$24.00 per hour.
