Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a positive, hardworking individual with a passion for maintaining and improving golf course conditions on a daily basis. This position will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to execute daily maintenance operations and play an integral role throughout the restoration project, offering an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience.

Requirements
Experience Required
• Prior experience with irrigation systems, including repair and operation, is required
• Experience in fertilizer and pesticide application, including calibration, record keeping, and sprayer operation, is required
• A North Carolina State Pesticide Applicator’s License is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe
• A 2- or 4-year degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, or a related field is required
• 2–3 years of golf course maintenance experience is required
• Previous Assistant Superintendent or AIT (Assistant-in-Training) experience is preferred
• A strong understanding of the game of golf and expected course conditions is essential
