Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Jackson County, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude
• Assist in daily golf course setup, conditioning, and operation
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards
• Participate in chemical and fertilizer applications
• Assist with irrigation management and troubleshooting
• Help manage projects related to renovations, drainage, and course improvements
• Maintain accurate records for spray programs, moisture, and cultural practices
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and problem-solving ability
• Uphold safety standards and ensure proper equipment operation
• Exhibit strong leadership presence and contribute to overall staff culture

Requirements
• Entry-level to 3 years of golf course maintenance or management experience
• Certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science or a related field (preferred, not required)

Compensation
$50,000–$70,000 per year.
