Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Candidates can expect the traditional responsibilities that come along with being an assistant golf professional including the following
· Assisting the Head Golf Professional with golf operational duties
· Provide 1st class service to all members, resort guest, and outside guests
· Handle daily golf shop operations including: inventory, bookkeeping, guest check-in, and phone calls
· Work with and communicate to outside operations team members, golf course maintenance, and food & beverage associates
· Conducting and an assisting in tournament operations
· Teaching golf schools/clinics, and private lessons.

Candidates can expect to be exposed to a broad range of golf experiences and given primary areas of responsibilities. Our resorts are a very active and host tournaments, golf schools, clinics, golf groups, member events and the golf shops are stock with a wide range of premier golf brands.

Requirements
· PGA Member, Apprentice or PGM Student recommended
· Prior experience working in golf operations recommended
· Must be prolific with computers specifically: POS system and Tee Time management software along with Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
· Knowledge of Golf Genius software preferred

Compensation
$18.25 – $23.00 per hour.
