Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Highlands, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Working closely with the Director of Golf, a successful candidate will focus on high-quality customer service and attention to detail to deliver the best possible experience to our members and guests. This position is designed to provide the necessary exposure, experience, and preparation for the individual to pursue future growth and development within the golf industry. Your primary responsibilities will include day-to-day operations of specific areas determined by the Director of Golf, working alongside fellow professional staff members.

Additional responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Opening and closing procedures of the Golf Shop.
• Accurately record all daily play.
• Monitor pace of play.
• Tournament Operations.
• Golf Car Fleet Management.
• Merchandising and inventory control.
• Assist in the supervision and training of the Outside Service department.
• Golf Instruction and Player Development.
• Play golf with the membership.
• Monitor and enforce Club guidelines as set forth by the Board of Directors.

Requirements:
Class A PGA Member in good standing or actively pursuing their PGA Membership.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional preferred.
Ability to be a self-starter and multitask.
High level of work ethic, service standards, and attention to detail.

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour.
