Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Salinas, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Greet and assist members and guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Manage daily tee sheet and coordinate play efficiently.
• Assist in monitoring pace of play and enforcing club policies.
• Help organize and run member tournaments and events.
• Maintain a clean, organized golf shop and staging area.
• Provide club regripping.
• Assist with inventory control, receiving, tagging, and displaying merchandise.
• Monitor sales and contribute to visual merchandising strategies.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and reporting.
• Assist in running junior golf programs, clinics, and camps (if needed).
• Build strong relationships with members to enhance their experience.
• Resolve any member concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote club activities, events, and services.

Requirements:
PGA associate or pursuing PGA membership (preferred).
Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient with POS systems (ForeTees, Jonas, or similar).
Strong knowledge of the game of golf, tournament formats, and golf rules.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season hours.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
