Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Exhibits a positive attitude daily while assisting guests in the Golf Shop. Performs tasks assigned by Director of Golf, 1st Assistant Golf Professional, and Retail Lead.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone with an energetic and helpful tone.
• Assists guests with booking tee times using the EZ Links tee sheet.
• Ring in product sales using Jonas software.
• Ring in guests through cash or credit card transactions.
• Ensuring that the cash register is in balance throughout the entire day.
• Opening and closing of the Golf Shop.
• Upsell merchandise and the VIP card program.
• Assist in tournament preparation.
• Answer product related questions.
• Assist guests in finding the proper size/brand they are looking for.
• Responsible for daily upkeep in Golf Shop which includes but is not limited to: Restocking items such as hats/shoes/clothes, dusting/cleaning displays, folding clothes and vacuuming floors.
• Ensures consistent sound inventory levels of the following merchandise essentials: plastic shopping bags (2 sizes), paper shopping bags (2 sizes), packing tissue, gift boxes, bows, gift wrap (December).
• Ensures consistent inventory of basic, in-stock apparel so that at- or near- par levels a maintained, to include: Ladies solids, ladies outerwear, Men’s solids, men’s outerwear, and headwear.
• Assist the Golf Shop Supervisor for Shop displays in terms of display quality (depth, richness, product display, height, color, and seasonality), cleanliness, and refreshing/updating.
• Assists in inventory counts on a monthly basis, and manages shrink reconciliation along with Golf Shop Supervisor.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Compensation:
$16.50 per hour.
