Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Dallas, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Complete oversight and control of golf shop, locker rooms, driving range, golf carts, and outside services.
• Hires, trains, and supervises all personnel within the golf department. Evaluates, corrects, and disciplines employees in accordance with federal/state laws and club policies.
• Plans annual golf calendar of events for both men’s and women’s golf activities.
• Evaluates/approves merchandise products, supplies, and assists with pricing.
• Attend management and committee meetings when requested.
• Works closely with golf course superintendent and clubhouse manager in planning daily golf and events.
• Develop a strong junior golf program.
• Regularly schedules time to provide golf lessons to all levels of ability.

Requirements:
The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of progressively challenging experience as a Head Golf Professional or First Assistant, preferably in a country club environment, or premier resort environment.
An aspirant should possess outstanding leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of budgeting as it relates to purchasing, merchandise cost controls, inventory, labor, etc., and maintain the highest professional service to members and guests.
Class A Certification through the PGA or working toward this goal.
Documentation of continuing education in a professional field.
Valid driver’s license.
