Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf course in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
The primary function is to be an extension of the management staff. You will work closely with the golf course superintendent and assistants to provide the highest quality playing surfaces achievable. The position comes with many responsibilities that will help advance your career and will provide a comprehensive working knowledge of golf course maintenance. You will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance including but not limited to: all equipment operation, mowing, topdressing, fertilizer and chemical calibration, fertilizer and chemical applications, drainage projects, sod projects, aerification projects, irrigation troubleshooting and scheduling, verticutting, and small project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and possesses the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:
2–4 year degree preferred or turf certificate.
Minimum 1 season of golf course maintenance experience.
Looking for an individual with a strong work ethic looking to build a career.
Creative person with a good attitude, an eye for detail, and strong communication skills.
Must be self-disciplined and able to carry out goals established by management.
GA State Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.

Compensation:
$18 – $19 per hour.
