1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead and provide excellent customer service to all members and their guests.
• Lead and train staff to include the assistant professionals, outside services and starters.
• Manage and schedule all staff for weekly duties that include providing sufficient staffing for club events.
• Actively play golf with the membership. Participation in chapter and Carolinas Section events is desired but not required.
• Oversee and coordinate all club events that include the men’s member guest, women’s invitational, couples events and outside charity tournaments.
• Experience with tournament software with a desire for someone who is capable of using Golf Genius tournament software.
• Oversee the teaching program at the golf course. Since there is not a teaching professional at the golf course, there is an opportunity for revenue in teaching. The golf instruction includes private lessons, on-course teaching and ladies’ clinics.
• Experience with merchandising. The golf course is building a new golf shop that will be twice the current size. A desire for someone who has experience in high-end merchandising.
• Also has experience in club fittings. TrackMan desired but not required.

Requirements:
Minimum of three years experience as a Golf Professional.
Prefer an applicant who has worked at a private golf facility.

Compensation:
$55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year.
