Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
To work with the Head Golf Professional, keeping them aware of all particulars involved in conducting a smooth and rewarding golf experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the rules official for all tournament rules disputes.
• Prepare appropriate rules sheets for the event following USGA guidelines and local rules.
• Prepare the scorecard and/or summary sheet for the event and note any changes in pairings or name spellings.
• Prepare neat, computer-generated cart assignments for the event.
• Coordinate the staging area and event start, including registration, bag handling, special contests, on-course activities, greeting, and reviewing the rules of play.
• Ensure the golf shop is informed and up-to-date on all tournament details the day of the event.
• Coordinate scoring and post tournament results.
• Display or present awards or prizes and assist with merchandise sales when Pro Shop credit is used.
• Monitor starting times and pace of play.
• Coordinate post-tournament functions and return all event materials to their proper locations.
• Provide guidance on tee sheet management to increase yield and maximize course occupancy.
• Assist with various responsibilities during tournaments or outings to meet customer needs.
• Support golf shop or concessions operations, including checking in golfers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:
Golf Genius knowledge would be helpful.

Compensation:
$10.50 – $12.00 per hour.
