Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Davie, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have the desire to be an active mentor for others and wants to take ownership of developing short and long-term goals for the operation. They are highly attentive to details and improving efficiencies and overall performance of the operation. This person is also passionate about the game of golf, and has a can do attitude to grow in their roles. Assistant super will actively manage all aspects of golf operations, including but not limited to fertilization, spraying, mowing, landscaping, and projects as they arise. Must work under the direction of the superintendent to implement the programs in place. Must have a good working knowledge of different turfgrass cultivars.

Requirements:
Must possess a 2-year degree or equivalent golf course working knowledge of the position.
Must have at least 4 years working on a golf maintenance crew, preferably in a leadership role.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
Must be able to walk long distances.
Must possess Florida applicator’s license.

Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 per year.
