Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Naples Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting the Golf Operation with numerous activities relating to the management and operation of the club’s golf program. The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional will gain valuable experience in providing members and their guests with professional golf services while assisting the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf with all aspects of the Golf Operation. Works the necessary hours to facilitate the delivery of exceptional service to the membership. The anticipated schedule is Monday-Sunday as needed. Weekends & Holidays are a necessity to this position.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Greet members and guests upon arrival.
• Report to work as assigned neatly dressed and in accordance with Club uniform, grooming and dress policies.
• Day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop including opening or closing of the Golf Shop and accurate billing.
• Assist the Merchandise Manager with inventory, and merchandise display.
• Assist in keeping the golf shop neat and clean.
• Answer the phone and take accurate messages.
• Assist in monitoring the Practice Tee and providing support to the Starters & Player Services team.
• To have a good working knowledge of the Northstar POS, ForeTees, Golf Genius, and GHIN software.
• To be available for all club events and assist in all tournament activities.
• Perform club repair.
• Opportunities for instruction depending on qualifications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Must be a team player and service-oriented.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must stay current on PGA study materials and have a good working knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
Emergency first aid certification preferred.
Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with members and guests at all times.
Golf Genius proficiency required.
