Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in High Point, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Working alongside the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional, the position will be responsible for many aspects of the Golf Operation. The main focus in this position is to ready the candidate to someday supervise their own operation at another club in either the Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf position.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the director of golf and head professional in the daily golf operations of the club.
• Create a memorable experience for the members and guests each time they visit the club.
• Assist the head professional with junior golf program which includes clinics and camps in the golfing season along with a tournament program.
• Work with the director of golf and head professional to develop a ladies 9-hole golf association by teaching new ladies in the program about the game of golf, including instruction and rules of golf.
• Work with the director of golf and head professional in all aspects of the merchandise operation, including ordering and displaying merchandise.
• Develop relationships with members of the club by playing golf as needed and helping them to develop their golf game.
• Supervise and work alongside the outside work staff on a daily basis.
• Responsible for online tournament sign-ups and notifications to the membership as directed by the director of golf and head professional.
• The successful candidate must be a “team” player to work with the entire golf staff to make the members and guests experience memorable.
• The assistant golf professional will be under the director of golf and head golf professional to ensure the golf operation at the club is operated in a professional and welcoming manner.

Requirements:
An apprentice membership with the PGA is desired.
Experience at a private facility is helpful.
Experience in working alongside professionals in clinics and camps is helpful.
College associate degree education is desired.
Basic computer skills and social media experience are desired.
Ability to communicate with all levels is essential.

Compensation:
$48,000.00 per year.
