Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Lake Orion, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
As a member of the Indianwood team, you will be responsible for interaction with members and guests, retail sales, telephone procedures, Golf Shop neatness and cleanliness, practice area set-up and clean-up, opening and closing procedures for both, outside and inside operations. You will run leagues, events and golf outings throughout the season. This is very fun work environment with lots of opportunity for growth! This position will be cross-trained to work inside and outside operations. The candidate can expect to work inside 80% of the time, and outside 20% of the time.

Duties:
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to all members and guests.
• Oversee all the practice facilities efficiently.
• Greet all members and guests as they arrive.
• Manage leagues and tournaments.
• Proficient in computer applications: POS, USGA Handicap Management, Golf Genius, Excel, Word.
• Manage and promote member events throughout the season.
• Promote member events and interaction.
• Increase instructional offerings.
• Encouraged to play golf with members and guests when appropriate.
• Be an ambassador of Indianwood and always present a professional image and appearance.

Requirements:
Experience in:
Management of day-to-day play.
Member & Outside events.
Properly bill all sales & events.
Manage of all outside service personnel to ensure the prompt service to our members and their guests.
Assist in inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of sale, pricing procedures, display, and sales.
Coordinate Member Events.
Provide Instruction.
Maintain a clean working environment.

Compensation:
$800.00 – $1,200.00 per year.
