Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Howell, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assists the General Manager in the management of day-to-day Golf Operations of the facility. The position is responsible to supervise and manage total golf operations in the absence of the General Manager. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all members.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all facets of golf operations, including the supervision and training of outside services, starters, and rangers.
• Assist with member check-in; control and manage play.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in managing tournament operations and weekly events including planning, pre-tournament event sheets, post-tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow-up.
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics.
• Assist with Head Golf Professional with the management of outside services, rangers, and starters to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with training all golf operations staff.
• Assist in managing golf cart fleet, practice facility, and club storage.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for the golf operations.
• Assist in the inventory control of hard goods, special orders, ordering procedures, receiving procedures, displays, and sales.
• Play golf with a variety of members of all skill levels.
• Development of staff work schedules.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.

Requirements:
Associate in the PGA program or planning to enter PGA program.

Compensation:
$750.00 – $880.00 per week.
