Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Buchanan, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work alongside the Superintendent to plan and execute daily opera ions and evaluate
current agronomic programs/procedures. The daily role of the Assistant includes disease and insect scouting, participating in daily maintenance, crew management, irrigation scheduling and repair and application of pesticides/nutrients. The goal of this position is to prepare the Assistant to be capable of advancing his/her career to a Superintendent position.

Requirements:
2-4 year degree in Turf grass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in golf course maintenance practices.
Strong knowledge of turfgrass management practices, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
Pesticide applicator’s license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year.
