Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Ambler, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The typical work schedule will be 45-50 hours a week from April-October with one four-hour shift each weekend during the growing season.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and execution of all golf course maintenance operations.
• Supervise and train a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff.
• Ensure the health and condition of turfgrass, trees, and landscaping.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and equipment.
• Monitor and apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals as needed.
• Implement best practices for sustainable and environmentally friendly course management.
• Collaborate with the superintendent to develop and manage the maintenance budget.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of agronomy, turfgrass science, and golf course management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Valid driver’s license and Pennsylvania pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain).

Compensation:
$70,000 per year.
