Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in New Lenox, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Duties will include supervising and coordinating all maintenance activities at the 18-hole course and the practice facilities. The position is to join our team to assist in daily operations. Day-to-day tasks will consist of spraying, fertilizing, irrigation repair/maintenance, course setup, and leading our team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned assistant looking to make a move or a young turf grad hoping to further their career. Assist in managing a crew of 10 during the season. Winter work consists of assisting the equipment manager with winter repairs and snow removal at the Toptracer range.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have 1-5 years in Turf Management with increasing responsibilities.
A 2- or 4-year degree in Turf Management is preferred but not required.
Hardworking, punctuality and a great attitude are a must.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain an Illinois Pesticide Applicator’s license within 30 days of hire.

Compensation:
$23.00 – $34.62 per hour.
