Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf course in Chicago, Illinois is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The first and last daily interaction a guest has is almost always with our outside services staff. Our current team prides themselves in setting the tone for each day here at the club with a positive team attitude and strong customer service skills.

Cart/Golf Operations/Tournament:
• Preparing golfers for their round.
• Manage golf cars for daily play.
• Anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
• Clean clubs.
• Set and assist with all tournament/event procedures.

Practice Facility:
• Attend to all guest needs.
• Prepare the practice facility daily.
• Stock the practice facility.
• Maintain practice tee amenities and cleanliness.
• Pick the driving range nightly.

Golf Shop:
• Take tee time reservations.
• Answer daily phone calls.
• Help guests with merchandise.
• Sell merchandise through the POS system.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Assist in opening and closing the golf shop.

The ability to work in the outside golf operations, pro shop operations and tournament operations throughout the summer makes this internship opportunity very unique and special for your career development.

Compensation:
$16.20 per hour.
