Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Merrillville, Indiana is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm and welcoming presence for members and guests, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
• Assist in organizing and executing golf tournaments, leagues, and special events.
• Offer golf instruction and clinics to players of all skill levels, focusing on the development and enjoyment of the game.
• Support the daily operations of the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales.
• Conduct all the Couples Golf Tournaments.
• Assist with the management of the Outside Golf Operation and help the outside staff when needed.
• Greet and direct guests of the club, maintain an on-time tee sheet and help maintain the pace of play on the golf course.
• Play golf with members to strengthen relationships and enhance the member experience.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the practice facilities to ensure a top-notch environment.
• Uphold the standards for professionalism and service excellence.

Requirements:
Entry into Level 1 of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program or higher.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an outgoing and approachable personality.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering meaningful connections.
Knowledge of golf facility operations, Golf Genius Tournament Software, Foretees Point of Sales Software, and golf instruction techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
