Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Santa Fe, New Mexico is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Help in every area of the golf operation who is eager to learn and grow. A succesful candidate will work closely with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional, to elevate the member and guest experience.

General Daily Responsibilities:
• Open and close the golf shop.
• Supervise outside service operation by managing by walking around.
• Bag pull.
• Cart cleanliness.
• Proper range setup.
• Staff presence in all stations of the operation.
• Manage the operation while welcoming guests at the practice range. Send groups off of the first tee.
• Manage pace of play/course enjoyment for groups.

Gathering experience in these vital components of an operation:
• High-end customer service.
• General golf shop operations.
• Instruction.
• Club fitting.
• Club repair.
• Tournament operations.
• Merchandising operations (including day to day merchandising and monthly inventory).
• Staff management.
• Demo/rental club management.

Requirements:
Prefer candidates to have prior experience working at a high-end private facility.
Also, a successful candidate will be Class A or actively pursuing PGA membership.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $25.00 per hour.
