Golf Shop Attendant
Golf Course in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the Golf Professional staff with the day-to-day operations of the golf shop and its grounds by administering daily shop duties, such as opening and closing the golf course, answering calls and making golf reservations, leadership of outside staff, and management of the tee sheet. Preserving the cleanliness of the facility is a large focus.

Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct point of sales transactions and maintain the day-to-day golf reservation systems by reserving tee times, check-in customers, and receiving payments.
• Able to conduct cash register sales with an emphasis on handling cash and credit card transitions.
• Familiarize oneself with the course schedule as it relates to upcoming leagues and outings and assist where applicable for events.
• Handling of daily play on golf course and other data, as directed.
• Perform particular outside service duties, such as setting and maintaining cart staging area, cart barn area & putting green.
• Stocking of all course product such as balls, merchandise, and F&B products.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by upper management.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Past experience with scheduling software and team settings. Golf proficiency preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills within a team setting along with leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in Word/Excel programs.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Applicant will have a strong work ethic, energetic, outgoing, and has a focus in customer service.
