Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Crown Point, Indiana is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will assist customers with their checking in, process transactions, and ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop.

Duties:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in checking in and if they have any questions regarding the course
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including merchandise displays and inventory shelves.
• Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting periodic stock counts.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the golf shop and exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail experience preferred, especially in a golf or sporting goods environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories preferred.

Compensation:
$10.00 – $13.00 per hour.
