Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Supports the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in managing daily golf operations. This role collaborates closely with the Head Golf Professional and fellow assistants to oversee all aspects of daily golf activities, events, and business operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage golf tournaments, including assigned events.
• Provide support and supervision for outside staff and locker room personnel as needed.
• Book and manage tee times using the Golf Tee Time System.
• Monitor player flow and ensure proper Pace of Play on the course.
• Oversee and maintain the Handicap System.
• Assist with merchandise sales, club fitting, display, and inventory management.
• Stay on track with PGA Membership Requirements.
• Maintain and enhance playing ability.
• Engage with club members through golf participation.
• Attend PGA skill development and personal improvement opportunities.

Requirements:
PGA Member or actively enrolled in the PGA Associate Program.
Proficient in GolfGenius Tournament Management, JONAS, ForeTees, and other essential computer systems.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Maintains a professional appearance and effective communication skills.
Prior experience in playing golf and working in the golf industry.
Ability to meet the physical demands of golf operations.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $18.00 per hour.
